Hello, Out readers, are you fans of Survivor? The long-running reality show has given us plenty of reasons to love it in the past, and now, there's a new Survivor couple that is reminding us why the show is one of our favs!
Survivor 45 costars Katurah Topps and Sabiyah Broderick have hard-launched their relationship, making them the first-ever Surivor couple consisting of two Black queer women!
The two started as friends when they met on the plane ride to Fiji for their season of Survivor, but feelings soon developed between them.
"We realized that our friendship — being 'besties' who talked every single day — was turning into something more last fall, around August 2024, and we decided to explore it casually. But, by January of this year, we knew we needed to make it official," Topps says.
This new couple is just one of many great queer reasons to love Survivor! Bisexual White Lotus creator Mike White is returning to compete on Survivor 50, where he'll join other queer contestants and favorites.
We've also been loving Survivor Croatia winner Luciano Plazibat, who first went viral with his "Abracadabra" video, and now is talking about his DMs being flooded with requests and compliments!
