Happy Friday, Out readers!
We're two weeks into 2026, and already we're tired of a few things.
The first thing we're tired of is Michael Rapaport. The Atypical actor is on the newest season of The Traitors, and his offensive attitudes and behaviors are bringing one of our favorite shows down!
Rapaport has a long history of controversy, beginning in 1997 when he was arrested for harassing his ex-girlfriend, actor Lili Taylor. Since then, Rapaport has become something of a conservative and Zionist firebrand.
Now, on a recent episode, Rapaport made comments that came off as homophobic. When talking about fellow contestant Colton Underwood, who is gay, Rapaport said, "Conniving, commiserating Colton. Nobody in this room would be better at holding a secret than you."
Thankfully, Underwood and fellow contestants Johnny Weir and Maura Higgins shut Rapaport down.
We're also happily leaving behind influencer Jeffree Star. In recent years, Star has pivoted from talking about makeup and beauty to going on anti-trans tirades and defending Charlie Kirk.
Most recently, he's made some seriously disgusting jokes about Latino creators and ICE. On a recent livestream, Star "joked" about a young Latino man who joined and was filming in a room with a red light.
"I'm just surprised they have red lights in the deportation centers," Star said.
2026 is already packed full of important news we need to focus on; we don't have time for jokers like these.
