The 2025 Met Gala is less than a week away, and fashion fans around the world are eagerly anticipating one of the most stylish nights of the year.
This year's Met Gala will take place Monday, May 5, and is themed "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with the accompanying dress code, "Tailored for You."
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute exhibit of "Superfine" focuses on "Black Dandyism" and the role of style and fashion in forming Black identities.
This will be the first Costume Institute exhibit focused on menswear since 2003's exhibit "Men in Skirts," so anticipation is high for this year's event. And fittingly, the cochairs and host committee members are stacked with stylish star power.
The cochairs of this year's gala include Colman Domingo, race car driver Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams. In addition to the queer stars listed below, the host committee also includes André 3000, Simone Biles, Regina King, Spike Lee, Audra McDonald, Angel Reese, Tyla, Usher, and Kara Walker.
The host committee also has several queer celebs contributing, all of whom are known for both their work and their fashion.
Here they are.
