During the MCC Theater's Miscast benefit on April 4 at the Lucile Lortel Theater in New York City, Broadway stars Gavin Creel and Aaron Tveit took on the parts of Maureen and Joanne in a performance of "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent.
Creel and Tveit's performance amped up the sexual tension in the song by grabbing each other and staring intimately into each other's eyes, leaving viewers hoping for a kiss by the end.

The annual benefit allows Broadway stars to perform songs from different roles and productions, helping MCC Theater produce Off-Broadway shows and support partnerships in New York City public high schools.
