The 20th anniversary celebration of Brokeback Mountain, the rise of new queer country stars like Tanner Adell, and the continued success of Orville Peck in music, theater, and film are just a few things that prove how the Gay Yeehaw Agenda is alive and well.
Following 2019's Pony and 2022's Bronco, Peck entered a brand-new era with a studio album of duets, 2024's Stampede: Vol. 1, featuring artists such as Willie Nelson, Elton John, and Noah Cyrus. The singles from the album — "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other," "Midnight Ride," and "How Far Will We Take It?" — are lyrically enticing bangers that got visually stunning music videos.
Peck has continued to open up about his life experiences, expand his overall reach in pop culture, and build his legacy as an artist in various different mediums as of late. From hard-launching his relationship with William Mikelson to making his Broadway debut as the Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, the singer is now on his way to the big screen to play Vega in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. Fans can't get enough from Peck, and neither can we.

Peck wrapped production in Street Fighter with a sweet Instagram post that read:
"My two months in Australia making the [Street Fighter movie] have come to an end. This experience brought me so many unforgettable memories, challenges and above all, a cast & crew that I love to death. The amount of hard work, commitment, laughter and tears that went into this film will probably only ever fully be known to us — but I can't wait for the world to see the magic and integrity we set out to create on set every day. Time for this spotted horse to get back to my music and hanging with my dog but until October 2026 — mama, that's a hadouken."
