Lipslut is helping separated migrant families with social activism fostered by the love of liquid lipstick. Founded after the 2016 election, Lipslut combats the current socio-political landscape and uses makeup to inspire social activism. Since its founding, 50 percent of Lipslut's profits have been donated to charities that were chosen by customers' popular votes during purchase, which totaled $80,000 in the first year. Proceeds from the "F*ck Trump" shade have also been used in the past to fight against other incidents that have occurred under the Trump administration like the Charlottesville attacks and to help other groups marginalized by policy decisions, like women.
