House of Gucci could've been even more deliciously epic, according to Lady Gaga.
As a part of a recent House of Gucci cast conversation panel moderated by James King, Lady Gaga revealed that some very scintillating scenes were cut from the film that could've elevated it to another level of over-the-top spectacle.
In the film, she plays Patrizia Reggiani, the former wife of businessman Maurizio Gucci, who ended up hiring a hitman to assassinate him. Hayek plays Pina Auriemma, a psychic who Reggiani went to for advice. The two have several scenes together and form quite the bond -- but it could've been even more.
When a fan asked Hayek about what it was like filming with Gaga, she replied, saying it was a "delicious relationship," and the fans "didn't get to see all the scenes" that were filmed between the two of them. That's when Gaga stepped in.
"There's a whole side of this film that you didn't see where Pina and I developed a sexual relationship," Gaga said. "This is a testament to the director, because he allowed us to go there. I remember being on set with Salma and going, 'So, after Maurizio dies, maybe... it gets hot...'"
"You think she's kidding!" Hayek added.
Please release the director's cut! We need this scene!!!

Gaga's Oscar press tour has been full of larger-than-life reveals like this. Just last week, Gaga revealed that after she finished filming, she knew it was time to let go of the character when she got a very specific message from Reggiani herself.
"On the last day of filming I was on the balcony of my apartment in Rome and I was blasting Dean Martin singing 'Mambo Italiano' and I had a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. I was Patrizia," she said. "But I knew I had to say goodbye to her. Large swarms of flies kept following me around, and I truly began to believe that she had sent them. I was ready to let her go."
Swarms of flies, cut sex scenes, who knows what wild story we'll hear from Gaga about House of Gucci next week!
