‘Drag Race’ Guest Star Nancy Pelosi Halts Trump’s SOTU

Who hails from San Francisco, has entered the RuPaul's Drag Race workroom, and has now shut down the Commander-in-Chief from delivering his State of the Union?

None other than Speaker of the The House Down Boots Nancy Pelosi.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, Trump's State of the Union has been cancelled after Pelosi slammed her speaker's gavel on Trump's plans faster than Laganja Estranja threw herself to the ground, CNN reports.

"Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest we work together to determine another suitable date after government has re-opened for this address or for you to consider delivering your State of the Union address in writing to the Congress on January 29," Nancy Pelosi, noted stunt queen, wrote to Trump on Wednesday.

For those who skipped AP Government in high school, it should be noted that the president is invited to deliver the State of the Union to Congress and Pelosi wielded the power to rescind said invitation, even if Trump wanted to RSVP to some free screen time in front of the American people. CNN called the move a "power move," but season five queen Alyssa Edward put it best: we smell a stunt.

If this is any indication of what the next few years will be like under Nancy Pelosi, well ... we can't wait to see how this turns out.
