The law-breaking Kentucky Clerk was welcomed onstage to "Eye of the Tiger."

Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee made quite the spectacle when he welcomed disgraced Kentucky clerk Kim Davis to the stage of her release rally yesterday. Before succumbing to laughter, tears, and quite a bit of arm waving, Smith walked out to applause from her supporters and the famous Survivor song, "Eye of the Tiger." However, the band was not contacted prior to the use of their song, and they are not happy.

Survivor frontman Frankie Sullivan took to the group's Facebook to voice his anger, saying:

"NO! We did not grant Kim Davis any rights to use 'My Tune -The Eye Of The Tiger.'"

Jim Peterik, a fellow founding member of Survivor, said in a statement to Billboard:

"I was very surprised and dismayed at the misuse of the song I co-wrote with Frankie Sullivan for Rocky lll. The song has motivated thousands through the years to reach beyond their limits. Its use for the release of Kim Davis does not support my views or my politics. I have contacted my publishers to make sure this usage is stopped immediately."

TMZ reports that the band are considering filing a lawsuit, saying that they are determined to preserve the integrity of their work.
