90 Day Fiancé star Chantel Everett is engaged!

The reality TV star was surprised by her girlfriend, Ashley Bowen, on December 17, at Uhuburg, a Renaissance castle in Helen, Georgia, where Bowen dropped to one knee and proposed. "Our love feels like it was written in the stars," the couple told People. "So romantic, so authentic, so raw. We love that about ourselves. We love that about our love story."

Everett starred on season 4 of the reality show, during which she traveled to the Dominican Republic and got engaged to Pedro Jimeno. The two got married, and Jimeno moved to Atlanta, Georgia, with her. Their relationship was documented on the show 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? from 2017 to 2019, and on 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined in 2020. The couple divorced in 2022.

On the spinoff show 90 Day: Hunt for Love, which features singles from the show, Everett opened up about exploring her sexuality and said that she had an experience with a female friend before the show.

"Right before I came to the resort, something did happen with one of my friends," she said. "I was hanging out with my friend Ashley, and we were drinking wine, and she explained to me that she has feelings for me that are actually romantic. Well, one thing led to another, and Ashley kisses me. I almost fainted, I was so shocked, and I really liked it."

Everett said it "felt like my first kiss ever," but also left her overwhelmed at what it might mean for her sexuality.

On a later episode, Everett said being on the show helped her solidify her feelings for Bowen. "I feel like being able to experience all of the guys here really made it clear to me that I have something else that is for me back in Atlanta, that I have somebody at home," she said. Everett added that being on the show, "dating everybody and experiencing everyone," made her realize she really cared for Bowen and wanted to "explore that relationship a little further," and said, "And now, I am officially public about my sexuality, and it feels great."
