Hello Out readers!
We're all familiar with the current U.S. president and his administration's attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, and now, the military has a new target: Netflix. While fans are going nuts for the sexy Marines in the new show, Boots, the Pentagon isn't getting in on the love fest.
The Pentagon has released an official statement declaring that Netflix's popular show is "woke garbage" being fed to the streamer's "audience and children."
"Under President Trump and Secretary Hegseth, the U.S. military is getting back to restoring the warrior ethos. Our standards across the board are elite, uniform, and sex neutral because the weight of a rucksack or a human being doesn't care if you're a man, a woman, gay, or straight," a statement from Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson says.
Thankfully, viewers don't see the show the same way, as it has been in Netflix's top ten since its debut.
