The Kiss of the Spider Woman star set the record straight on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

It's unclear if Jennifer Lopez convened with the Zodiac Council from her 2024 This is Me… Now visual album, but it seems like someone might have told her to stay away from Virgos. During her most recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Kiss of the Spider Woman star was asked to clear up a 2022 rumor from Glee star Heather Morris, who said that Lopez once cut dancers from an audition because they were Virgos.

Lopez seemed willing to play ball while answering questions from Bravo host Andy Cohen. "You know, I've thought about this," she answered through laughter. "I do like to joke around. I think I had just… I had maybe just had an issue with a Virgo, and I was like, 'If anybody’s a Virgo here, get out!'"

Lopez continued to laugh, adding: “But I didn’t mean it. They could walk away and say that, of course, but I’m sure they knew I was joking.” The pop star and actress went on, “Or maybe they felt like I wasn’t… But I was, absolutely. It was a joke.”

Before Morris was a star on the hit Fox show, she was a professional dancer and supported Beyoncé as a backup dancer in 2007. The Glee alum was interviewed on Justin Martindale’s podcast, Just Sayin’, where she spoke about her experience auditioning for Lopez.

“Jennifer Lopez held an audition for dancers for one of her tours,” the dancer turned actress said. “She walks in the room and she said, ‘Thank you so much, you guys have worked so hard. By a show of hands if there are any Virgos in the room, can you just raise your hand?’”

Morris continued that Lopez “looked at them and she said, ‘Thank you so much for coming,’ and they had to leave after a full day of auditioning for Jennifer Lopez.”

The Glee alum clarified that this was a rumor that she heard from someone she knows. “This is hearsay, but true,” she maintained. “When one person says something, could be true; [but] when multiple people say something… It’s like, ‘Oh, that happened.’”
