Shania Twain Says She Would Have Voted for Trump
Days after serving as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race, Shania Twain has broken our gay hearts in an interview, saying that if she had voted in the 2016 election, she would have voted for Trump.
When asked by the Guardian, Twain -- who is Canadian and thus not able to vote -- unequivocally stated she'd have followed her conservative ideals and voted for Trump. "I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest. Do you want straight or polite? Not that you shouldn't be able to have both. If I were voting, I just don't want bullshit. I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent. And politics has a reputation of not being that, right?"
Shania...how could you do us dirty like this? RuPaul should have spared Mayhem and told you to sashay away.
