The photo of the Baraboo High School students has caused backlash and a police investigation.
A photo has recently gone viral of students at Baraboo High School in Wisconsin. The prom picture features a large group of teenagers giving the Nazi salute. Since deleted, it was uploaded to the Twitter page, Welcome to Baraboo with the caption, "We even got the black kid to throw it up."
“If anybody from Baraboo High School in Wisconsin can clue me in on why it appears the entire male class of 2018 is throwing up a Sig Heil during their prom photos - that would be great.

h/t @CarlySidey”— Jules Suzdaltsev (@Jules Suzdaltsev) 1542002876
The image has drawn backlash and even a police investigation.
But one openly gay student, Jordan Blue can be seen with both hands down, visibly uncomfortable with the situation. According to Blue, the photographer asked the students to make the salute, with one student even giving the white power hand symbol. Blue recently provided a statement to journalist, Jules Suzdaltsev about the incident.
"I attend BHS. These classmates have bullied me since entering middle school. I have struggled with it my entire life, and nothing has changed. These are the boys of the class of 2019. Nothing has been done, and my question is, will anything ever be done? I truly and firmly believe we need to make a change to this horrible act. It needs to stop. Bullying, immaturity, and just taking things as a 'joke.'"
“I spoke with the only student who is visibly not comfortable with the “salute”, he provided this statement.”— Jules Suzdaltsev (@Jules Suzdaltsev) 1542037631
