“I’m regretful. I was young. He was a celebrity that I looked up to,” said one woman on air.

James Franco has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, two of whom appeared on Good Morning America today to talk about their experiences with inapproriate abuses of power by the actor, who just won the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his role in The Disaster Artist.

Violet Paley, a former girlfriend of Franco's, and Sarah Tither-Kaplan, a former student in Franco's sex scene class, both sat down for a video interview on GMA to recount instances they felt Franco acted inappropriately. Paley recalls feeling pressured to perform oral sex during her first date with Franco. "I'm regretful. I was young. He was a celebrity that I looked up to," she said on air.

Tither-Kaplan explained that "James is absolutely not a Harvey Weinstein. He is not an unfeeling monster who has no sense of reality. He created an exploitative environment for non-celebrity women on his sets."

A Franco representative told GMA that the claims made by these women are "not accurate." Tither-Caplan hopes her story will encourage Franco to teach information in his class that is "real and valuable and actually give [his students] career advancement." Paley asks Franco to "please just apologize."
