The tribe has spoken, and now that their torches have been snuffed out, two cast members from Survivor season 50 have been invited to cameo on the hit show created by their former tribal teammate, The White Lotus creator Mike White.
White, who identifies as queer and bisexual, appeared on the finale via video call Wednesday to tell host Jeff Probst that contestants Kamilla Karthigesu, 32, of Canada, and Charlie Davis, 28, of Tennessee would be part of his HBO show's fourth season, as Entertainment Weekly reported.
They won't be the first castaways to make the trip from Fiji to film a scripted show; Survivor: David vs. Goliath alumni Kara Kay and Angelina Keeley played hotel guests in the second season of White Lotus, which White also writes, directs, and executive produces.

"I don't really watch TV," said Karthigesu when she was interviewed by EW about White in April. "I watched The White Lotus when I came back because I'm like, 'What's this guy about?' You know, I hadn't seen anything that he's been in or he's written or directed or whatever, so not me. Itās not something I'm about."
Likewise, Davis gave no hints about the cameo when he was interviewed by EW in March.
"Oh my gosh. I mean, I should be so lucky," Davis said. "That would be cool to go to the south of France."

White told Probst on Wednesday's finale that he moved the shooting schedule of Season 4, which began production in April, just so he could compete on Survivor 50.
"Survivor has given me so much, both personally and as a viewer when I was a contestant," he said. Before this season, White appeared on season 37 ā David vs. Goliath ā in 2018. "And it's such a cultural milestone, 50 seasons. Are you kidding? I wouldn't miss it. There's no way you could have kept me from coming back."

White, who was one of only two queer contestants this season, also revealed what he did following his own torch being snuffed out at tribal council this season.
"It took a day to nurse my wounds. But then after that, I got to work," said White. "So nobody knew where I was. I didn't have a phone. So, just being able to write White Lotus season four was like a gift in and of itself. So, thank you."
That's when Probst asked White if he'd have any of his former costars appear in the upcoming season of the HBO series.
"I might as well. I mean, everybody's invited, but there are going to be two contestants that were flying out to be in the show. And they are Charlie and Kamilla," White said, to a round of applause from the audience on the Paramount lot in Los Angeles.
Apparently, White's reality costars have been bugging him so much about landing a part in his show that White told EW back in February he had to take drastic action.
āDid I tell you I changed my number?ā he said. āI mean, I really value the friendships that I made out of the show, but sometimes I do feel like there's a lot of reality contestants in my life.ā
For those who missed it, Aubry Bracco, 39, of New Hampshire, won Survivor season 50. But the big headline from Wednesday's finale was that Probst made a huge mistake and spoiled the outcome of the fire-making challenge by revealing which contestant lost. The audience gasped, and Probst tried to laugh it off, telling the audience, "I love doing live television."
