The "most exciting and the most personal collaboration" designer Jonathan Anderson has ever done.

J.W. Anderson's long-anticipated Uniqlo collaboration is finally available to preview ahead of its fall '17 release. The capsule, out September 19, offers an extension of Anderson's recent collections that tie in the "concept of reducing British classics" according to the queer designer.
"I shop at Uniqlo religiously," Anderson told Vogue. "It's what I wear every day. It's probably the most exciting and the most personal collaboration I've ever done because it's the first time I've been designing for myself, what I would want to wear."

Jamie Hawksworth, who's photographed many J.W. Anderson campaigns, also shot his Uniqlo capsule in London's Southwark borough. One image shows a male model posing in front of the Tate Modern, wearing a creamy cable knit crewneck, lux trench and colorful striped scarf. Another sees a female model perched in the middle of a flowery field, wearing a ruffled denim skirt, plaid puffer and matching bag.
The 33-piece collection delivers color-blocked sweaters, striped jumpers, check flannels, and classic trenches for both the menswear and womenswear lines. With prices starting at $20 for graphic tees, Anderson fans can score the designer's updated British classics at an affordable price.
"Jonathan had a very clear vision--we just had to make it happen," says Yuki Katsuta, global head of research and design at Uniqlo. "For our team it was a very enjoyable process. Our dream is about total clothing and creating a new heritage, and that's why we called him. We wanted this concept with the best designer."
