We got a first look at Transparent back in February when Amazon posted the show's pilot. Now they've released the season 1 trailer.
Written and directed by Jill Soloway of Six Feet Under, United States of Tara, and Afternoon Delight fame, the show stars Jeffery Tambor as the Pfefferman family patriarch, Mort, who comes out as a transwoman. This throws his three adult children--played by Gaby Hoffman, Jay Duplass, and Amy Landecker--and his wife, played by acting legend Judith Light, for a loop. Now the Pfeffermans must embrace the changes that Mort has set in motion.
Amazon will roll out all 10 episodes in season 1 on September 26.
