Heated Rivalry feud ends: Hudson Willams and Jordan Firstman work it out on the remix

Bro, it's so confusing sometimes to be a bro.

Good news: It's dead. The media feud between I Love LA star Jordan Firstman and the Heated Rivalry actors Hudson Williams (Shane Hollander) and Connor Storrie (Ilya Rozanov) — which even featured actor François Arnaud (Scott Hunter) entering the chat — has seemingly come to an end.

On Tuesday, December 16, Williams shared a selfie sitting right next to Firstman. The same selfie was then re-posted by the Rotting in the Sun actor. Both of them added heart emojis to their respective posts.

From the looks of it, Williams and Firstman XCX'd their beef over "a pack of cigs, a Bic lighter, and a strappy white top with no bra," as both actors are seen smoking in the selfie.

These are also two hilariously chaotic actors who could very well be joking about making amends over a certain activity in which people feel like lighting up a cig after the act.

After all, Firstman did say in a viral comment that he "would let either boy to anything to me." Neither Williams nor Connor Storrie identify as anything but straight, however, so Firstman will have to keep that one in fan-fiction territory for now.

"I think the show is super fun and sexy I just don't think it feels like real gay sex which is okay!" Firstman wrote in a TikTok comment re-shared by Heated Rivalry fans on social media. "I don't think it's in insane take. I would let either boy do anything to me tho."

What did Jordan Firstman say about Heated Rivalry?

Firstman expressed an intense reaction during a recent interview when asked to comment on parallels between gay storylines explored on I Love LA and on Heated Rivalry.

"I'm sorry, I watched those first two episodes of Heated Rivalry and it's just not gay. It's not how gay people fuck," Firstman told Vulture, adding: "A straight guy could not write that. They don't know what the camaraderie of gay sex is. So, yeah, I think I definitely led the charge with that."

What did François Arnaud and Hudson Williams say about the Jordan Firstman controversy?

After that particular quote went viral, Heated Rivalry star François Arnaud (who plays Scott Hunter on the gay hockey show) clapped back with an Instagram comment.

"Is there only one way to have 'authentic' gay sex on TV?" Arnaud asked in his comment under a Just Jared post. "Should the sex that closeted hockey players have look like the sex that sceney LA gay guys have?"

Arnaud — an out bisexual man starring as Scott Hunter on Heated Rivalry — received a lot of praise for defending his costars and the overall project, which has an out gay showrunner, Jacob Tierney, at the helm.

(It would've been odd for the lead actors of Heated Rivalry, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who both identify as straight, to have defended their performances of queer characters in response to a queer actor's criticism, after all.)

Yet, Williams did respond to Firstman's comments with an Instagram Story statement in which he promoted HBO Max's I Love LA.

"But truly go watch I Love LA! Jordan and the cast are great," Williams wrote.
