Leo Adef's Stripped Down Portraits of Friends, Lovers & Houseguests
Three years ago, Barcelona-based artist Leo Adef began capturing portraits of the guests that wandered into his house. From friends and lovers to boys who'd come for castings or parties, he catalogued them all in between creating films for i-D, Indie Mag, and other publications.

For Adef, the visual register was never planned. "It was very natural and with time, I've realized that I had a lot of these photos," he explained. "No preparation, no production, just as a register." While he takes a break from working on films and photo projects, he dug through his collection and shared his favorite portraits.
