    LIFE BALL 2019

The Life Ball in Vienna is an institution in many ways. It, as a single night, is one of Europe's largest fundraisers for HIV and AIDS. Before its 2019 iteration earlier this month, the event had raisedover 30 million euros for over 100 HIV /AIDS related projects around the world -- this month alone they raised over 180,000 euros in a live auction. But now, that's all come to a close.

And though the organizer of the event says he plans to continue his activism in some form, the event went off with quite the bang. Though the famed "party plane" -- where Life Ball flies out influencers, celebrities, and press all on one jet -- wask skipped this year, the event boasted an extensive dinner and auction, a two-hour staged production for it's opening ceremony, and the elaborate, multi-roomed, Wizard of Oz themed party. Celebrities like Amanda Lepore, Conchita Wurst, Francois Sagat, Carmen Carrera, Alaska Thunderfuck, and more were all in attendance. Super producer Jake Resnicow produced the Life Ball after party. Read more about Jake here in our profile of him last year.

Here, we give you a peak inside the infamous, final party via Bryan Soonuk's photos.
