All our favorite LGBTQ+ stars are coming together for this year's GLAAD Media Awards!
It's going to be an all star night of queer celebs on April 8th as the GLAAD Media Awards celebrate their 32 annual award show with a packed lineup for their digital show.
GLAAD has previously announced the nominees for the awards and that recently married actress and comedian Niecy Nash will serve as host of the virtual ceremony. Now we know who's joining her: Schitt's Creek creator and star Dan Levy, dancer and YouTube star JoJo Siwa, Star Trek Discovery stars Wilson Cruz, Anthony Rapp, Blue del Barrio and Ian Alexander, singer Sam Smith, Happiest Season director Clea DuVall and more.
Also appearing will be Matt Bomer (The Boys in the Band), Jonathan Bennett (The Christmas House), Bob The Drag Queen, Laverne Cox (Disclosure), Jim Parsons (Hollywood), DJ "Shangela Pierce, Eureka O'Hara, Bretman Rock, Brandee Evans (P-Valley) Coman Domingo (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom), Nyle DiMarco, Robin de Jesus (The Boys in the Band), Molly Bernard (Younger), Sterling K. Brown (This is Us), Katy Perry, and the cast of HBO Max's Veneno.
Nominees this year include Schitt's Creek, Veneno, Happiest Season, Disclosure, Harley Quinn, Killing Eve, The Umbrella Academy, The Haunting of Bly Manor, She-Ra & The Princesses of Power, Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, and Sam Smith.
Several Ryan Murphy projects are up for awards, including The Prom, Boys in the Band, Ratched, Circus of Books and Hollywood.
Former Out culture and entertainment director Tre'Vell Anderson is nominated for their February 2020 cover story "It's Time for a New Tipping Point for Transgender Folks in Hollywood." Pride Media publications The Advocate and Plus were also nominated.
The GLAAD Media awards will present in 28 categories live on Thursday, April 8 at 8pm EST. Two hours later the show will stream on Hulu as well.
