As basketball players continue to improve their game on the style court, there's no excuse for a foul anymore. Nerlens Noel, of the Philadelphia 76ers, made a slam dunk at the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. Making some bold choices without being too flashy, his look stood out in a crowd of boring suits. The slim electric blue jacket is his statement piece, and paired with fitted silver gray trousers, it's a departure from the same slouchy sack suits that we've seen other b-ball stars wearing since the '90s. A simple print and contrasting striped tie completes the look, and the simple white pocket square adds a smart nod to the derby traditions. If it were a fashion race, Nerlens (and his little friend) surely would've won.
