Nicki Minaj is continuing her MAGA spiral in new X posts that criticize trans children.

Minaj, who has faced criticism from fans recently for embracing President Donald Trump and his policies, has doubled down, praising Vice President JD Vance and attacking California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely Democratic presidential hopeful.

The rapper's attacks on Newsom come following the governor's recent comments on trans kids during a New York Times interview with Ezra Klein.

In the interview, Newsom spoke about embracing contradictions when he brings up trans rights, saying he doesn't think trans women competing against cis women in sports is "fair."

"I want to see trans kids. I have a trans godson. There's no governor that's signed more pro-trans legislation than I have. No one has been a stronger advocate for the LGBTQ community," he says. "But you have to accommodate the reality of those whose rights are being taken away as we advance the rights of the trans community, in terms of the fairness of athletic competition."

Newsom did not specify which rights have been taken away by advancing the rights of the trans community.

Despite making it clear that he does not think it is "bigoted" to limit opportunities for trans children, Minaj is using the quote to attack Newsom for supporting trans kids existing in the first place.

"Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that," Minaj wrote on X. "Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids."

Minaj's X feed is currently a mix of posts about Nigerian Christians, posts criticizing Newsom, and posts praising Vance.

"Nothing brings me joy like the Vance memes & knowing he leaned into it like a boss. Top Tier Comedy. Character = 100," she wrote. "But make no mistake, Vance is an assassin. Don’t debate him. On anything. Quick as a computer. Maybe quicker."

Minaj's MAGA turn came into focus in November, when she praised the president for defending Nigerian Christians, who the president claimed were being threatened. Locals and experts say that violence in the country isn't targeting just one religious group, according to PBS.

When fans questioned why she would praise Trump, Minaj doubled down.

Last month, she shared a White House social media post featuring one of her songs and praising Trump for his accomplishments during his second term, including "No men in women's sports, Border is closed, Our cities are safer than ever, Criminal illegals are being deported."

Elon Musk also joined the Newsom hate train, sharing a clip of Newsom's quote on the X account @America, which is a PAC founded by Musk. The clip highlights Newsom saying, "There's no governor that's done more pro trans legislation than I have."

"Correct. We're sorry your daughter hates you, Elon," Newsom's press office wrote on the post.

The post is in reference to Musk's estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, who is transgender.

Musk responded directly, misgendering and deadnaming his daughter, and saying she "has a tragic mental illness caused by the evil woke mind virus that you push on vulnerable children."
