Adele continued her global award winning streak yet again on Tuesday during the 2012 Brit Awards.
The six-time Grammy Award winner now took home awards for Best British Album and Best British Female artist. However, this time around Adele made an impression with more than her music.
The one-time Out covergirl was less than pleased when host James Cordon interrupted her acceptance speech to announce the next performance. After her acceptance and resulting interruption, Adele asked "Can I just say, then, goodbye and I'll see you next time round," and extended her middle finger toward the cameras.
In a comment to the BBC Adele stated, "I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me".
If you've listened to any of Adele's music you would know that she isn't one to be walked on. And her flipping the royal bird only reinforces that.
