Gia Gunn Calls RuPaul’s ‘All Stars’ Runway Looks ‘Hideous’

Gia Gunn is really keeping that "fuck Miss RuPaul" energy alive. The trans drag queen, who was eliminated not once but twice from the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, made it clear that she's still feeling some kind of way about her former TV mentor while savagely reading Ru's All Stars runway looks during an interview on Canadian entertainment show eTalk, which was shared to their Twitter account on Tuesday.
Gunn was a guest alongside Drag Race season nine contestant Kimora Blac, and the two were tasked with giving their thoughts on Mama Ru's runway looks throughout the season. "Can I just comment and say that the looks for me personally have just been a little...like...just ok," Gunn admitted, adding that she knows RuPaul's changed her styling team this season, "so I think we're seeing those changes."
When the host showed the girls a photo of RuPaul's runway look for this season's Snatch Game of Love episode, Gunn made it clear she was not a fan. "This one was the absolute worst me for the whole season. I absolutely hated this, I think it's hideous and I never want to see her wear that again." The look happened to be from the episode during which Gunn was sent home (the first time) so she may be just a bit biased.
"We need legendary looks," said Gunn. "I feel like I could find that at Topshop." Shots fired!
But despite Gunn's feelings about RuPaul's, she could help but give credit where credit is due: "Hate it or love it, she's still cashing checks."
Since her elimination, Gunn has been vocal about her feelings on both Drag Race and it's host. At a gig in December, Gunn welcomed RuPaul to "the world of drag that includes transgender," referencing the legend's 2018 statements about not letting a transitioning queen on the show."Yeah girl, fuck Miss RuPaul and her ignorant-ass comments." And her looks, clearly.
