For the 2014 music issue, the magazine wanted to highlight the hottest, most talented up-and-coming musicians on the scene. While a few artists, such as Angel Haze, Blood Orange and Ellie Goulding, are familiar to many fans, Out also wanted to shine the spotlight on a growing number of musicians.
The portfolio of artists spans rap (Lasto), pop (Betty Who), indie/alt-rock (Allies for Everyone) and the genre-less (Ejecta, Mapei) and together represents the eclectic sounds of the new year.
