Raised in North Carolina, Rigsby was trained in ballet and worked as a dancer for many years. Over the years, he danced for artists such as Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj and appeared on shows like Saturday Night Live and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Rigsby is one of the most famous Peloton instructors as of 2022, and he is also slowly expanding his image beyond the brand.
