All of the men who strutted their stuff in the pageant are a fantasy come to life, but one Midwestern contestant has gone viral for his sexy physique.
Mister Kansas showed off his patriotic spirit by sporting an American flag-themed speedo that will have you pledging allegiance to his thick thighs and bubble butt.
In a video compilation showing off the top 10 beefcakes in the swimsuit portion of the competition, Mister Kansas stood out among a sea of ridiculously fit guys. While the other competitors were wearing swim shorts, he wore a skin-tight Speedo that caught the attention of viewers everywhere.
After the video clip went viral on social media, it took almost no time at all for he gays on X (formerly Twitter) to track down Mister Kansas, whose real name is John Ahlstedt.
According the internet sleuths, Ahlstedt is a straight LGBTQ+ ally who loves to wear nail polish — he sported pink nails on the runway — and isn’t afraid to stand up fro trans rights.
Far from just a pretty face, Ahlstedt has used his TikTok account and social media presence to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and speak out against the Trump administration’s treatment of immigrants and transgender people.

“If you genuinely want to debate transgender athletes, have the f’n debate. Have it in good faith,” he said in a TikTok video. “[But] if this is what you’re running on, while working-class Americans are getting their asses kicked by the cost of living, you are completely of touch from what millions people are dealing with every single day.”
Ahlstedt even announced that he was entering the Mister USA competition — for which he ultimately placed fifth — in front of a “Love is love” rainbow flag, and his profile pic on TikTok and Instagram shows him wearing a shirt that reads, "ICE can gargle my balls."
