April is almost over, Out readers! What a month it's been!

As April comes to a close, we can start looking forward to May! May, of course, means that it's time for the Met Gala! The biggest night in fashion takes place on the first Monday of May each year, meaning it will be on May 5 this year.

The theme of the accompanying Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute exhibit is "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," and the dress code for the Gala is "Tailored for You."

As the exhibit is focusing on "Black Dandyism" and the role of style and fashion in forming Black identities, the host committee is filled with some truly incredible Black stars.

The always-fashionable Colman Domingo is one of the co-chairs this year, and is joined by Janelle Monáe, Doechii, Jeremy Pope, Jeremy O. Harris, Ayo Edebiri, and Sha'Carri Richardson, as well as others, on the host committee.

Also coming in May is the new Prime Video comedy Overcompensating, starring and created by Benito Skinner!

A new trailer for OvercompensatingOvercompensating came out recently, which not only gave us a good look at the show's plot and themes (Skinner plays a closeted college freshman who was a football star and homecoming king in high school) but also revealed a ton of killer guest stars!

Overcompensating stars Skinner, Wally Baram, Adam Dimarco, and Mary Beth Barone, but also features Charli XCX, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, James Van Der Beek, Lukas Gage, and Megan Fox.

Overcompensating premieres on Prime Video May 15.
