"They're really original, you know...they're a superior group of people," The White Lotus star said of her gay fans at Tryst Puerto Vallarta's grand opening.

Jennifer Coolidge loves her gays!

The White Lotus star and comedy legend is once again showing her love to the queer community — this time in a new red carpet interview with People.

Gay audiences have long loved Coolidge for her allyship, wit, talent, and body of work, and she isn't shy about giving love back.

Coolidge was appearing Sunday at the star-studded opening night party for the Tryst Puerto Vallarta, a queer resort from Out100 honoree Tristan Schukraft in Mexico, when a reporter from People asked her how her gay fan base is different from other fanbases. "What do you love about having them love you so much?" the reporter asked.

"I don't know, I think maybe heterosexual people are more self-conscious," the Emmy winner said. "I think gay men and gay women just let it, just let loose and have a blast. They know how to have a really, really good, really fun time."

"They're really original, you know…" she added, "They're, I don't know, just a superior group of people."

This is far from Coolidge's first iconic quote about the queer community.

One of Coolidge's most famous roles, Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus, gave us the iconic line: "These gays, they're trying to murder me," in season 2, after she realized that the group of affluent gay men she was on a boat with knew her husband and were, well, trying to murder her.

Later, at the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards, Coolidge was honored with GLAAD's Special Recognition Award and announced, "Here I am again, surrounded by gays, it's the story of my life."

"I want to give back, you know. I believe we all have the right to be who we are and to love the people that we love and tell our stories and celebrate that in every way that we can," she added.
