THE GAY PLOT When Worlds Collide
It’s not often the worlds of funky Out, grizzled old Rolling Stone, and prim-and-proper U.K. leftie The Guardian meet, but we thought music might have been the common ground we all shared. So we made a Venn diagram showing the overlap of the top 25 from each publication’s top-albums-of-all-time roundup. Are we all the same under the skin? Brothers and sisters in harmony? Not so much—but if there is a musical Henry Kissinger, it’s the Velvet Underground.
