Having the right to get hitched is one matter, but planning a gorgeous wedding is quite another. Do you make your ladies-in-waiting wear bridesmaid dresses? How far ahead do you send out invitations? Do you plan a destination wedding? How do you affix a ring pillow to the back of your prized Portuguese water dog? Do register at HomeDepot or BevMo?
The Los Angeles Lesbian and Gay Wedding Expo at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown Los Angeles on November 10 will help you sort it all out, and tickets are free.
Hundreds of engaged gay and lesbian couples will be there, along with dozens of exhibitors, folks giving financial and legal advice, panel discussions on wedding tips, and fertility and family planning--goodness knows nobody's getting knocked up by accident on a same-sex honeymoon.
The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Wedding Expo will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club at 431 W. Seventh St. in downtown Los Angeles. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. LGBT activist and award-winning filmmaker, JD DiSalvatore, is producing the event alongside Frontiers Media.
