It was a groovy time at Fred & Jason's Halloweenie. The largest gay Halloween fundraiser in Los Angeles celebrated its 16th year last Friday with an event themed "Peace, Love, and Disco Balls."
And the balls were certainly on display at the Belasco Theater, where revelers showed some skin, creative costumes, and far-out dance moves for a good cause: Halloweenie raised $180,000 for Project Angel Food, which will provide 18,000 meals for vulnerable people.
Celebs also showed up in support, among them Lance Bass and Michael Turchin, Johnny Sibilly (Queer as Folk), Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House), Analyse Talavera (Big Brother, The Challenge), and Nicholas Birchall and Bryce Fins (Love Island USA). Halloweenie was sponsored by Kevin Huvane, Anawalt Lumbers, Ob-Jects, 33 Taps, Stache, Don Julio, Ketel One, and more.
