Matt Rogers dishes on his relationship with Fraser Olender: 'I'm happy and proud of him'

The handsome actor is even revealing who sent the first DM after last year's Las Culturistas Culture Awards.

Love is in the air!

BravoCon had plenty of viral moments back in November 2025, but the biggest gay story to come out of the exciting weekend was the official hard launch of Matt Rogers and Fraser Olender's new relationship.

Although the handsome reality stars started dating a few months ago, the pair made their official red carpet debut at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards back in May and fans were swooning all over the internet.

In fact, this year's Culture Awards serve as a major full-circle moment for the adorable couple as last year's show brought the boyfriends together for the first time.

"Fraser actually was invited last year and couldn't make it. He did an interview right after that saying he was disappointed to miss it. It was because of that interview that I even DM'd him! In a way, the Culture Awards were the intro to how we even started talking. I was happy to have him by my side," Rogers tells Out.

Fans of Below Deck loved seeing Olender support Rogers at the Culture Awards as the Chief Stew is currently working overseas on a mega yacht in France. The couple prioritizes seeing each other as much as possible, but Rogers is sharing his top tips to anyone navigating a long distance relationship.

"He's out working on a yacht again and doing his thing! Being on the show is one thing, but actually going out there and doing it in real life is his real passion. I'm just happy and proud of him. Phone calls are better than texts. FaceTimes are better than phone calls! Try your best to see each other every two to three weeks, as long as you give it a good effort."

Rogers' Las Culturistas co-host Bowen Yang is thrilled that his lifelong bestie is so in love. The duo is continuing to support each other as they host their successful podcast and bring every corner of the industry together for the second annual Las Culturistas Culture Awards.

"It is so wonderful for me! I got to know Fraser on a human level. Obviously, I've seen him on Below Deck and I'm amazed at what he can do. Fraser is someone who knows so much about everything. It's such a great match with Matt. They're really wonderful, expansive, worldly people," Yang says.

The Las Culturistas Culture Awards airs Wednesday, June 17, on Bravo. To see the full interview with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, check out the video at the top of the page.
