How was your Oscar weekend? If you're like us, you spent it glued to your TV screen! Out editor Raffy Ermac attended the Oscars, getting to interview stars both on the red carpet and in the press room, and the rest of the Out team was busy all day covering the biggest night in movies!
I started my Oscar Sunday by watching E!’s red carpet coverage, hosted by the always iconic Laverne Cox. There really is no one better at red carpet hosting than Laverne! Are you fans of E! and Laverne, or do you watch ABC and Vanessa Hudgens?
Some of our favorite Oscars moments included John Cena looking abs-olutely incredible while being naked on stage,Ryan Gosling’s brilliant “I’m Just Ken” performance, Billie Eilish’s win, and all the amazing fashion on the red carpet.
And by the way, I just want to say that in my opinion, Lily Gladstone should’ve won for Best Actress.
If you want to catch up with all of our Oscars coverage, you can see our roundup of thequeer nominees, who we thought should’ve been nominated, and who we think was snubbed.
Let’s check in with more of the best pop culture stories from the last few days.

Man Crush Monday
How could this week’s Man Crush Monday be anyone but Oscar nominee Colman Domingo? The Rustin star wowed us with his suit on the red carpet, adding a brooch to his bowtie. He’s been slaying all awards season, and didn’t let us down this weekend!
What We're Watching
This week has two big TV premieres that we’re looking forward to! The first is Girls5Eva moving from Peacock to Netflix, happening this week! The third season of Girls5Eva debuts on Netflix March 14.
The second thing we’re watching this week is the beginning of the second half of Invincible Season 2 on Prime Video! I love this super violent superhero animated series starring Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simons, and Andrew Rannells.

Message from the Editor
And that’s a wrap on Awards Season 2024!
We made it y’all! It’s been a long (but very fun!) past few months in the movie and entertainment industry, but with the 96th Academy Awards airing this past Sunday, another awards season has officially come to an end!
Every step of the way, the Out team got to cover so many major, star-studded shows this season, and if you saw on Out’s Instagram and homepage this past weekend, you also know that me and contributor Gabriella Angelina also got to attend the Oscars this Sunday and cover the red carpet for the first time! It was a busy/hectic event, but we got some great interviews from the like of out, gay Barbie star Scott Evans and screen icon Gabrielle Union!
I’m so proud of the work the Out team has done this awards season giving our beloved readers the queer entertainment content they deserve, and we can’t wait to keep slaying more awards shows in the (very near) future!
