The overall RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise has come a long way since launching RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: A spinoff series featuring sickening former contestants who return for a second chance at snatching the crown. Over 13 years later, All Stars has become another long-running hit series for the overall franchise, with fans tuning in every single year to find out which stunts, twists, turns, and goops these returning superstars are able to pull off.
In recent years, international shows within the Drag Race franchise have also been launching their own versions of All Stars spinoffs — from UK vs the World to Canada vs the World to España All Stars, France All Stars, and even the recent Slaysian Royale format — which have all been really successful spinoffs for their respective countries. Taking into account all of these All Stars-esque shows, the global Drag Race Hall of Fame is closer than ever to reaching 20 queens.

Chad Michaels had an impeccable run on Drag Race season 4 but wasn’t able to snatch a crown for herself. Not too long after that finale, Chad returned to compete in the first-ever season of All Stars. In case you don’t remember, the big twist of All Stars 1 involved two queens competing in pairs. Chad paired up with Shannel, from season 1, as “Team Shad.”
Together, Chad and Shannel won three maxi challenges and made it to the grand finale. The All Stars 1 finale then featured a lip sync for the crown between Chad and Raven, which culminated in Chad entering the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

VH1
The growing success of Drag Race moved the flagship series and its spinoff, All Stars, to VH1 — and All Stars 3 happened to be the first season of the spinoff to air on that bigger network (in comparison to its previous home on Logo TV).
Trixie Mattel got to the finale with a track record of two maxi challenge wins and two bottom placements. She, along with fellow finalists BeBe Zahara Benet, Kennedy Davenport, and Shangela, were all gooped and gagged by the “A Jury of their Queers” twist where eliminated queens decided which two competitors would lip sync for the crown. The voting pushed forward Trixie and Kennedy, and Trixie was ultimately chosen to enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

BBC/World of Wonder
The first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World was packed with heavy-hitters like Baga Chipz, Mo Heart, Pangina Heals, and Jimbo, so that Blu Hydrangea’s path to victory wasn’t an easy one.
Nonetheless, Blu persevered, played the game, and proved how talented she is — even how much she had evolved since competing in the first U.K. season. And just like that, Blu was crowned the Queen of the Mother-Tuckin’ World.

Ra’Jah O’Hara had a pretty intense saga on Drag Race between competing in season 11, All Stars 6, and the first-ever edition of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World. She competed alongside Silky Nutmeg Ganache all three seasons… And, as fate would have it, the lip sync for the crown was between the two of them.
The Ru-demption story arc showcased by Ra’Jah in this franchise is definitely one for the herstory books, and it’s amazing to see that it ended on the highest possible note: Earning the title of Queen of the Mother-Puckin’ World.

After seeing the fan reaction to her talents and working even harder with a larger platform, Sethlas came back onto the Drag Race España All Stars to absolutely steamroll the competition. Four maxi challenge wins and never being eligible for elimination, it’s safe to say that Sethlas accomplished that mission.

Angie on the Drag Race Hall of Fame? Check!
The delightful Angeria Paris VanMicheals entered the Drag Race Hall of Fame as a competitor who won All Stars 9, a.k.a. the “chari-tea” season of the series. Though it is unfortunate that this format didn’t let the winner walk away with the grand prize of $200,000, the overall theme of the season felt like a necessary message to send out into the world.
Angeria was one of three queens to win four maxi challenges throughout All Stars 9 (the other queens being Plastique Tiara and Roxxxy Andrews), which qualified her to lip sync for crown. Mama Ru ultimately declared that Angie was the winner of the season, and we loved to see it.
