Editor's note: this post contains MAJOR spoilers for the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10.
The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 finale starts with seven semi-finalists finding out that an eliminated queen is indeed returning to join this Tournament of All Stars lip sync smackdown for the crown. By the end of this grand finale, one queen does officially enter the Drag Race Hall of Fame… But the journey to the crown is a fierce tournament of its own.
We've got a lot to cover, so let's get this started!
The episode begins with the top 7 queens — Aja, Bosco, Daya Betty, Ginger Minj, Irene The Alien, Jorgeous, and Lydia B Kollins — dreading the idea of another queen coming back. When considering the possibilities, their guesses vary from Nicole Paige Brooks to Mistress Isabelle Brooks.
But a Brooks is not back.
Kerri Colby returns to compete in the Drag Race All Stars 10 finale.

Kerri Colby is revealed as the wildcard queen returning to the Tournament of All Stars. (To be clear, Kerri was announced as the returning contestant for All Stars 10 in a sneak preview video shared ahead of the finale on the official social media pages for RuPaul's Drag Race.)
By joining the seven semi-finalists in the lip sync smackdown for the crown, Kerri makes it an even total of eight queens vying for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. As shown in episode 11, two of three judges selected Kerri as their pick for the wildcard twist. Mistress Isabelle Brooks was chosen as the third pick.
After a draw, Kerri scored her way back into the competition.
Here's how the Rate-A-Queen system impacts the All Stars 10 lip sync for the crown.

Yet another twist!
The eight queens competing to win the Tournament of All Stars must go through the Rate-A-Queen system before the lip sync smackdown for the crown. This twist, first introduced on Drag Race season 16, makes its All Stars debut here.
Yes, everyone is confused about how this is going to work, but there's no need to (gay) panic. Things start making sense as the episode goes on and Irene The Alien (out of drag, and sort of Overcompensating-coded) explains the concept of a seeding bracket.
The All Stars 10 seeding bracket pairs up the queens per their Rate-A-Queen rankings.

Long story short: The All Stars 10 finalists are ranked from first to eighth place in the Rate-A-Queen twist, which then determines how they will be paired up in the lip sync smackdown for the crown.
As the lip sync tournament begins, the queens start finding out their Rate-A-Queen placements, as well as the opponents they'll be facing.
Song selection includes Lady Gaga, Kesha, Natalie Cole, P!nk, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira.
