Meet Thiago Pantaleão, Brazil's Sexy New LGBTQ+ Superstar
Thiago Pantaleão is taking over!
Thiago Pantaleão is an up-and-coming LGBTQ+ musician in Brazil who is best known for songs like “Desculpa Por Eu Não Te Amar” (“Sorry For Not Loving You”), “Te Deixo Crazy” (“I Leave You Crazy”), and “Joga Na Minha Cara” (“Throw It On My Face”). As a Black man who has identified himself as LGBTQ+ for years now, Pantaleão is slowly growing his career and occupying new spaces that were previously limited for an artist like him in Brazil.
As of this writing, Pantaleão has over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Though he’s still on the way to reaching the 1-million mark on Instagram, Pantaleão is already followed by LGBTQ+ celebs like James Scully and Cody Rigsby, RuPaul’s Drag Race queens such as Bianca Del Rio, Aja, and Angeria Paris VanMicheals, as well as fellow queer Brazilian artists like Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove, and Pedro Sampaio.
He is also well-known for his twerking videos on social media.
Besides releasing dance-friendly bops and choreography-heavy music videos, Pantaleão is well-known for releasing thirst traps and twerking videos that leave his fans feeling pretty hypnotized.
One particular video garnered him over 18.8 million views on Instagram and was seen by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars like Trinity the Tuck, Dahlia Sin, and Miss Fame.
Pantaleão recently released a new music video for “Mente Pra Mim.”
In April 2023, Pantaleão released a music video for his brand-new single, “Mente Pra Mim” (“Lie To Me”), which brings a queer spin to classic music videos set in basketball courts. In it, the singer gives us a lot of face and body-ody-ody, as well as plenty of choreography along with his backup dancers.
