Here's Your First-Look Photos of Anitta on 'Élite' Season 7
Anitta, Anitta, so glad to meet ya!
Brazilian bombshell and out bisexual singer Anitta is joining the cast of Élite season seven.
Though it had long been speculated that the Grammy-nominated musician would appear in the upcoming season of Élite, the news was only confirmed today with a slate of press photos of her at the Las Encinas school. Details about who Anitta is playing on the show are still unclear, but given that she’s Brazilian, there is a chance that she might be connected to André Lamoglia’s character, Iván.
The official Instagram page for Élite shared the announcement on social media, saying, “A girl from Rio you may already know… is about to make an entrance at Las Encinas. Anitta is joining the [Élite season seven] cast.”
Anitta is currently one of the biggest popstars in all of Latin America, having released music in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Her biggest hit songs include “Envolver,” “Downtown,” “Sua Cara,” “Vai Malandra,” “Bang,” “Paradinha,” and “Combatchy.” One of Anitta’s newest English-speaking tracks, “Boys Don’t Cry,” was recently featured as a lip sync song on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15.
Despite her appearances in various US talk shows, Netflix documentaries about her career, and judging stint on Legendary season three, Anitta is only beginning to dip into the world of acting. Élite seems like the perfect fit for her to break this new frontier, and we can’t wait to see how this turns out!
Scroll through to see first-look images of Anitta on Élite season seven while we wait for those new episodes to drop on Netflix.
