The Wicked Witch will return in 2025…
Wicked: Part Two has a new official release date, premiering in theaters November 21, 2025, just short of one year after Part One premieres this November 22, only in theaters!
A new visual was released by the Wicked team today showing the Wicked: Part Two logo along with a musical sting of the famous duet "For Good," which comes at the end of the musical. It also reveals the release date for Part Two, which will hit theaters in time for Thanksgiving next year, November 21, 2025.
Wicked is one of the biggest movie projects to come out this year, and it's only releasing the first half!
We all know Wicked as one of the most iconic musicals in Broadway history, and this year, it's finally coming to the big screen in a new movie adaptation by Jon M. Chu, but the movie has been split into two parts.
The first half, starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, alongside Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, and Peter Dinklage, releases in theaters this November 22, in time to be a huge hit over the Thanksgiving weekend.
