A week after Chappell Roan won Best New Artist at the Grammys and delivered a historic speech calling for record labels to pay artists a living wage and cover healthcare for them, she's still standing strong behind her words.

After Roan's speech, music executive Jeff Rabhan wrote a guest column for THR calling Roan naïve and "the kid who didn't get picked for dodgeball," and saying that she doesn't understand how the industry really works and that if she really wanted to make change, she'd use her own money.

Roan clapped back at the guest column, saying she's going to donate $25k to struggling artists and challenging the author of the column to do the same. Now artists like Charli xcx have joined her pledge. That's how you make real change!
