7 times Met Gala co-chair Colman Domingo embodied 'Superfine' style
Colman Domingo is the king of style!
It's no secret that The Four Seasons star Colman Domingo is one of the best-dressed people on earth. And on Monday, he'll get to show off his iconic style at the 2025 Met Gala.
This year, the theme for the gala is "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with the accompanying dress code, "Tailored for You," and Domingo is one of the co-chairs. "Superfine" explores the role of style and fashion in forming Black identities, with a special focus on "Black dandyism." It's the first Costume Institute exhibit to focus on menswear since 2003 when the exhibit was "Men in Skirts."
Whether it's on red carpets, on magazine covers, at awards shows, or at previous Met Galas, Domingo always shows up, shows off, and shows everyone else how to do it. And this year's theme seems tailor-made for him.
When Domingo was making the rounds at award shows in late 2023 and early 2024, he had the best red carpet looks of anyone nominated, and once again over the last year, he's turned heads with his commitment to his own unique style as a Black queer man.
Just look at the above photo of Domingo showing off his outfit at the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards. For seven more looks where Domingo embodied this year's Met Gala theme, look below.
