After being nominated for the Canadian Comedy Award last year, gay comedian Filip Jeremic is hard at work in his new home of NYC. Having already taken the runner-up prize in this year's NBC/UCB diversity scholarship, he's now creating and co-starring in a new web series, She & Her, which focuses on two volatile lesbians who try to open a bar without any business experience. We're intrigued by the pugs, ghosts, and attitude of the two main characters.
Filip's also set to perform at Solocom 2014 at The PIT on November 15th at noon, where he'll showcase several characters, from a sinister six-year-old boy to a melancholy middle-aged lesbian to a chimney-voiced homicidal lunch lady. Tickets are available here.
