Michael, the biopic about ex-gay activist Michael Glazte, based on The New York Times Magazine article "My Ex-Gay Friend" by Benoit Denizet-Lewis, has added Charlie Carver to the expanding cast.
According to Deadline, Carver -- minus his twin brother Max -- will find himself in a relationship with James Franco's Michael and Zachary Quinto's Bennet. His character Tyler is later left heartbroken when Michael renounces his homosexuality after a health scare that causes him to identify as born-again.
This is the first major solo project for Carver, who currently stars in The Leftovers with Max. The two previously played a pair of werewolf twins on Teen Wolf.
Carver joins the previously announced cast of lovers, which includes Quinto and Emma Roberts.
