Chance Meeting Leads to Gay Couple’s Romantic Instagram Wedding Photo

Renowned photographer Paul Octavious ran into a fan of his work who just so happened to be getting married. Octavious "just so happened" to be at the courthouse the following day and he snapped a pic of the newlyweds, which he posted on his Instagram:

The Escalator to Love - They say that everything happens for a reason. This past weekend, I headed downtown to meet up with a few friends for a late lunch. I was the first of the group to arrive and was greeted by our lovely waiter, a gentleman by the name of Judd, who took my drink order. After a few minutes, Judd returned with my beer and said, "I wanted to let you know that I'm a huge fan of your work." He continued, "It's so odd meeting you here today. You see, my partner Scott and I are getting married tomorrow, and I kid you not, the other day he said 'how crazy would it be if we ran into Paul Octavious while leaving City Hall-Paul just happened to be there taking photos while we were getting married'"... I laughed, and Judd said in a hopeful/joking tone "So what are you doing tomorrow?" ;) ... So the big day came for Judd and Scott, and lo and behold, Paul Octavious just so happened to be at City Hall at the exact same time the boys were heading to tie the knot. Scott was completely surprised, Judd was excited, and I was honored to photograph such a wonderful moment. This shot is the escalator to marriage court. Congrats to the happy couple and kudos to Paul Octavious for taking a shot on and of those two crazy kids. An escalator has never been more romantic.
