Andrew Garfield Dons Drag for Arcade Fire’s “We Exist” Video
With a great tuck comes great responsibility…
Everyone's favorite Spider-Man Andrew Garfield--sorry 'bout it Tobey--is no stranger to tights and now he's turning it out in drag. For Arcade Fire's upcoming video for the gay-anthem-in-the-making, "We Exist", our friendly gayborhood Spidey puts on a different kind of mask. Under a blonde wig, Garfield gets in touch with his feminine side.
The video was filmed during Arcade Fire's Coachella set last month. Frontman Win Butler introduced the song, about a son coming out to his father, by telling the crowd, "The right to marry anyone you want is a human rights issue." Here here!
Garfield has already voiced his support for marriage equality, but this time he's putting his hunty where his mouth is. Pity, though, he neglected to raid girlfriend Emma Stone's wardrobe since Miss Girl has been snatching wigs on every red carpet she glides across.
