Omar Apollo deserves it all!

Omar Apollo's career has truly skyrocketed in the last few years. With 13 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 560,000 followers on Instagram, Apollo is slowly becoming a household name in the music industry.

Though he is a famously private person, Apollo is rumored to have dated Frank Ocean as of late. Ocean is also notoriously low-key, though, so neither one of the singers has ever confirmed if there was ever any relationship between them. Alas, fans have taken note of all the musical similarities between Apollo and Ocean when it comes to their recent releases.

In 2022, Apollo released his debut studio album Ivory featuring hit songs such as "Invincible," "Killing Me," and "Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All)," which went viral on TikTok. With "Evergreen," Apollo also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at spot #51.

Now, Apollo has also earned his first-ever Grammy nomination as one of the candidates to win Best New Artist at the 2023 Grammy Awards. He will be competing in this category with artists like Anitta, Domi and JD Beck, Muni Long, Samara Joy, Latto, Maneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle, and Wet Leg.
