Tom Daley has come a really long way!

Tom Daley has been a champion diver since he was a kid, and an inspiration to the LGBTQ+ community for a long time too! In fact, sometimes it's difficult to remember the famed Olympic athlete only celebrated his 27th birthday last month. During that period, though, he's won a total of 12 gold medals in various international competitions to go along with his two Olympic bronze medals (amongst other awards he's earned).
In 2015, Daley announced his engagement to screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. Black won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 2008 film Milk, which chronicled the life and impact of the late, great Harvey Milk. The pair married in a fairy tale wedding at Bovey Castle in Devon, U.K. back in 2017, and the two sweethearts welcomed their son, Robert "Robbie" Ray Black-Daley, into their family via surrogacy the following year.
Daley has been making history since he was a young lad. For Pride Month, we decided to share some of our favorite Daley moments through the years, from his first competitions as a junior diver, through marriage and fatherhood, and into his continued quest to be the best, all the while blazing a trail for LGBTQ+ athletes!
