Welcome to another Wednesday, Out readers!

Are you looking for a new music or movie obsession?

This week at Out, we highlighted 29 out and proud country artists that you should be listening to. The list includes people who have been making music for decades, like Brandi Carlile, Lavender Country, and Chely Wright, as well as current stars like Orville Peck, T.J. Osborne, and Trixie Mattel.

The list also has a few artists who only came out recently, like Maren Morris and Tanner Adell.

Our list covers everything from folk music to pop country to outlaw country to Americana to traditional country, so there's something for everyone!

If you're instead looking for a new movie to discover, we've also got a list you can check out of the debut films of eleven of our favorite LGBTQ+ directors.

The list includes some truly great films, like Dee Rees' Pariah, a coming-of-age film about a Black teen girl embracing her lesbianism, and Andrew Ahn's Spa Night, about a closeted Korean-American man who finds a gay cruising spot.
